Infrared Sauna is the use of infrared light waves to aid in burning calories, achieving deep relaxation, improving circulation, reducing pain, and improving cellular health. It is completed inside the sauna booth that uses Far, Mid, and Near-infrared waves to achieve a full spectrum of benefits. You should utilize this treatment, depending upon your needs and goals, suggested use is 1-3 times per week.


Infrared heat therapy uses wavelengths of both the visible and non-visible light spectrum of sunlight, which heats the body normally. The human body can benefit from sunlight in many ways, such as warmth to help regulate temperature and vitamin D for energy and overall health.

There are three levels of infrared heat, which benefit the body in different ways:

Near-Infrared Heat: Targets the surface of the skin which makes you feel better physically, rejuvenates the skin, raises your core body temperature, boosts your immune system, and improves circulation. Many people enjoy near-infrared heat for the pain relief that it can provide.

Mid Infrared Heat: Targets the soft tissue which helps with pain relief, improved circulation, and even weight loss.

Far Infrared Heat: This infrared heat penetrates deeply into the body which can aid in increasing your metabolism, aid in weight loss, and help to reduce stress, among other health benefits.

Relaxing in a full spectrum infrared sauna can lead to a number of health benefits and improvements, including but not limited to:

What is the difference between an infrared sauna and a traditional sauna?
Unlike a traditional sauna that uses hot rocks or steam to heat the air, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you. Instead, they use infrared lamps (that use electromagnetic radiation) to warm your body directly. Traditional saunas heat the air at extremely high temperatures which can make the experience unbearably hot and difficult to breathe. Because infrared heats the body directly instead of simply heating the air, infrared saunas are seven times more effective for detoxification.

What do I wear?
There is no requirement for dressing in the infrared sauna. You may wear cotton clothes, a robe, or a towel.  Two towels will be provided for you during your session. One towel is for you to sit on and one is for you to wear or wipe your sweat. 

Will I sweat?
Don’t be surprised if you don’t sweat during the first few sessions. Sweating will increase with regular use, removing cellular debris leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. However, once your body does begin to sweat, in our saunas, you will experience the deepest sweat of your life.

Can couples sauna?
Yes! You can utilize your infrared sauna session for 1 or 2 people.

How long can I use it each day?
40 minutes is the recommended session length. Although you may find that you might need to work up to that.
